October 31, 2025 – The ghouls, ghosts, and goblins of Hansen High School came out in full force this afternoon for an unforgettable Halloween celebration, as the school’s annual party lived up to its "Hansen's Halloween" theme.
The school's common areas were barely recognizable, draped in cobwebs and decorated as a spooky, vintage town. A zombie mayor presided over the dance floor in the lobby, while screams of laughter and mock-terror echoed from the "Haunted Town Hall" attraction run by the Student Drama Club.

The highlight of the evening was the costume contest, which saw fierce but friendly competition. The grand prize for "Most Creative" went to a new student who transfer to Hansen from Iran recently. The "Best Costume" award was taken by Julie, whose is youngest academic counselor in Hansen Administration.

"It was incredible to see the effort and creativity our students put into their costumes and into just having a great, safe time together," said Principal Shahin, who himself attended dressed as a 1950s soda shop waitress. "Events like this are vital for building the memories and camaraderie that define the Hansen High experience."

The event, organized by the Student Council, was declared a massive success, with proceeds from ticket and concession sales going to fund new art supplies and theater equipment. If the smiles and tired feet were any indication, the 2025 Halloween party was a nightmare in name only.
